spent 2 nites in shi jia zhuang. have to spend atleast 2 days there every week till the end of this month. busy but i'm far from the sleep deprivation i have to cope back home w/ cean calling me few times a nite w/ his frequent bed-wetting.

went to the clinic this morning for the doctor to change the dressing on cean's stitches. clinics for expats here are really expensive. paid about 22.50USD for few pieces of cotton, few drops of betadine & 2 minutes of a doctor's time.

on the way home, we passed by these rows of construction sites. China is under construction—the result of rapid economic growth and a government push to upgrade the nation's infrastructure. foreign contractors have mouth-watering opportunities, though pitfalls can surprise the unwary.

nothing new today. ordinary. just finished what i'm supposed to do & went for a quick meeting w/ the client this afternoon. didn't even want to go out, my brows haven't been plucked for weeks i think i look horrible.

passed by these row of new chinese restaurants near our place. it's a famous street called the ghost street. restaurants here are open 24 hours. it looks ordinary during daytime but really nice by night.

took the bus again in beijing, the last time we did was almost 2 years ago. only 1 yuan per person (that's about 0.1208 USD & 0.09388 EURO) & u can go anywhere. cheap huh? while waiting for the bus i saw this local guy w/ blond & pink hair & wearing matching black & white attire. quite interesting in china.

i was so terrified this afternoon as i saw the rear of cean's head hit the corner of our timber closet. just before that happened, i was lying on the bed watchin' him and tellin' him to be careful while playing. he cried for the pain he felt & being sorry for his naughty behavior. i also cried ofcourse, as i said i was terrified. we went straight to the clinic and a minor operation was performed. 2 or 3 stitches i'm not sure. this thing happened a year ago, i remember. at that time, i wasn't present i rushed back home from the office.

he's fine now... playin' net games beside me.
