just came back last nite from the project site.

we arrived a bit earlier at our meeting place so we just took some photos while waiting for our enterpreter. nice weather.

site visit on the first day was ok. not much hassles except that we were arranged into a yukky hotel like last week.

busy because there are deadlines to meet but definitely not difficult. it's been part of what i've been doin' for more than a decade now.



went to the site last week, checked the mock-up rooms & realized it's time to work on new layouts for the next phase. by the way, we stayed overnite in a yukky hotel nearby. our mock-ups look a hell lot more better.

we've passed by these red walls near the forbidden city too many times i lost count but I didn’t notice there were lanterns almost every 5m. must be real beautiful by nite like in the foto below...

it’s now like a sunday regular thing… going out for a walk either to a park, the mall, the playground or just the nearest supermarket. today we were thinking of checking out the mp3s in xidan. found out the one we’re looking for isn’t there so we walked a little more, even thought of buying some painting book about marcopolo travel needed for our hotel artwork selection. too many people. walked few more blocks and we reached west of tian'anmen square just infront of the unfinished beijing opera house. anyways, the weather was really great (funny how cold it is inside our apartment) w/ lots of flowers starting to bloom...
